Short but Sweet

Just a quick post with a few photos taken before my trip to America and some bluebells from last week.

Always nice to see these little fluttering gems.

Speckled Wood

Small Tortoiseshell

When we returned we hoped that the bluebells would still be looking beautiful. We drove to Kingswood near Ashford in Kent and were not disappointed. They were late flowering this year because usually they are at their best on my Birthday. Bracken also enjoyed them!

Our mad dog and some beautiful bluebells

As I said, just a short one. Yesterday we went down to the beach at Seasalter and I spent much of my evening trying to take photos of swifts and house martins. Look back soon to see my attempts!

  2. Great images Lou I was wondering what happened to part two of your trip to the USA.
We used to live in East Grinstead and I miss Bracken (don't get much up here) and the potential discovery of Adders.
